We wanted to say thank you so much for playing the music at our wedding ceremony at the Hellenic Center. As I was standing inside getting ready to walk down the aisle I could hear the music playing, and it sounded amazing! It set the tone for a really memorable ceremony, a great cocktail hour, and an amazing reception. We will be sure to recommend you and hope to hear you play again soon.
Rebecca Simon, 7/6/12 wedding at the Hellenic Center, Ipswich, MA
We wanted to thank you for the excellent job you did playing music during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We enjoyed all of the music that you played and particularly appreciated the Korean songs that you included in the event. Thank you for everything..
Shieun and Andrew, 5/12/12 wedding at The Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA
I originally heard Tom play at Johnny D's on a Saturday afternoon during lunch and knew that he would be perfect to play guitar at my wedding ceremony.  Tom was so accommodating the throughout the whole booking process, and was truly such a pleasure to work with.  Tom was also willing to learn my husbands favorite song for us to walk down the aisle to, and it sounded so beautiful.  All of our guests couldn't stop talking about him all night, and loved hearing him play before and after the ceremony.  I would recommend Tom for any event; he is go great to work with, and such an amazing guitar player!
Rachel & Mike, Wedding 10/10/10 / L'Andana - Burlington, MA
Tom is a professional. He made my job as a wedding coordinator easier. He showed up on time for the ceremony, set up all necessary equipment and played the most beautiful version of the song 'Hallelujah” (Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley). He really helped set the tone and atmosphere for the wedding reception and I look forward to working with  him again in the future.”
Jeni Lu (Wedding Coordinator) , 6/26/10, Trinity Church, Boston, MA
We asked Tom to perform songs at both our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour.  Tom brought a whole other level of creativity, meaning, and energy to our wedding.   His ability to transform contemporary songs into beautiful jazz arrangements seemed effortless and really brought an added level of meaning to our ceremony.  His open mindedness and true enthusiasm for music really showed from the first time we met him at Johnny D's to the very last words we spoke.  Since the wedding we have heard endless compliments and questions about Tom's performance and all the great songs he was able to play for us and our guests.  We were extremely pleased we chose Tom to be apart of a truly great day in our lives!”
Pete and Catie Cameron, 7/24/10 Smith Barn-Peabody, MA
Once again Mike and I would like to thank you so much for playing at our ceremony. Not only did you set the mood just perfectly, but you also learned Mikes favorite song for us to walk down the aisle to. If we ever need a guitar player again you are the first on our list”
Rachel & Mike Teichberg, 10/10/10 L’Andana - Burlington, MA
You were great at our wedding--hard to believe it was a year ago. You were well-versed in all different styles such as flamenco and classical and were very accommodating and receptive to our requests and ideas. You were also very good about learning songs we requested and putting a nice little spin on them. We especially liked the jazz versions of pop songs--they were done in a way that was good and not Muzack-y. We still get good comments about you from friends and family”

Jenn and I were 100% satisfied with Tom! Great performer, great guy. I have a musical background so I was able to appreciate his technical skills, and in addition he totally listened to our needs and readily accomodated our wishes. His performance was subtle and provided the perfect complement to our ceremony.”
Ed and Jenn Gelber, 2/15/09 Astors Beechwood-Newport, RI
Tom was great! Was very very easy to work with the agency too,  We were able to conduct a lot of our correspondence via email which is so helpful.   Found you guys via  a wedding website (I think if I remember correctly) but so glad I did.  Would recommend to any bride!”
Leanne Doherty 12/27/08 Hyatt Harborside Hotel-Boston, MA
We were having a very simple outdoor wedding and wanted some casual live music to be including in the ceremony and cocktail hour.     He was great to work with.  He knew exactly what style we were looking for and made several great recommendations as well as sent me samples of his music.   It added such a nice extra touch to the entire event and the guest truly enjoyed it as well.   Thank you so much for being a part of our celebration and making it special & unique.

Brian & Viktoria Griffin 8/23/08 Codman Estate-Lincoln, MA

An innovative, as well as entertaining, performer who injects a sly sense of humor into his playing. Tom has a unique talent for guise and approach to a tune that sets the listener up for the inevitable, "oh?!?!...It's that song!?" It takes a certain talent to be able to carry you, willingly, on a musical sojourn and land you in a most familiar place. Tom Pendergast is a creative guitarist and engaging stylist, whose playful, almost mischievous, twists of song set a most enjoyable ambiance.”
