The Free Downloads is the ultimate multi-generational Boston wedding band. Raised on 80′s dance/pop/rock, we plant our roots in that decade and spread ourselves out 20 years in both directions. You can expect to hear us play everything from Stevie Wonder to Michael Jackson to current top 40 songs.

The 7 musicians that make up the group are some of the most talented and professional players in the area. We have a deep commitment to doing whatever it takes to meet and exceed expectations at your next event.  Like many wedding bands in Boston, Free Downloads play a little bit of everything, but they avoid many of the cheesy wedding band clichés, and focus on musical talent and showmanship to get people up and dancing.

We are also available in smaller ensembles or solo/duo for ceremonies and jazz cocktail hours.

 

We at mylifelist.org could not have been more thrilled with the Free Downloads. They came to rock it, accommodating every detail, playing songs that had meaning for guests at the Life Listers' Ball, building the party spirit with skill and talent. Their voices and musical ability was incredibly impressive, huge voices, great song choices, not a note missed. Their timing of breaks and ability to keep the crowd engaged and dancing was amazing. A professional vocalist myself, I initially hired these guys because of their amazing vocals! Everyone in the band is exceptionally talented on many levels. They had everyone at the wedding dancing, and the reception was absolutely seamless! They played everything they promised and none of what they didn't and couldn't have been more accomodating across the board!
