Boston wedding band Clockwork has performed at hundreds of weddings and events in the Boston area since 1989, creating memorable wedding receptions all over New England. Each event is special, and your wedding reception will be given the care and attention it deserves to make it a once-in-a-lifetime event!

Our philosophy about playing weddings is simple: it’s your day. We will go completely by your rules, or you can leave everything up to our expertise; it’s up to you. Want us to stick to a list of songs or musical styles that you provide? Want us to not play the chicken dance no matter how much Aunt Doris requests it? Want your brother to play guitar with the band, or have Uncle Fred sing “New York, New York”? No problem; we are completely accommodating to any requests you may have of us.

We’re in it for the fun – honestly! We truly enjoy performing together and playing to the very best of our abilities every time. We love it when everyone dances, even uncle Charlie who NEVER dances to Boston wedding bands! That’s our challenge: to make sure everyone has a super time and remembers this event forever. When the spirit is willing, there is no holding back so don’t be surprised when we come join you on the dance floor and hand you the microphone to sing along. Judging by the emails we get after every performance, we must be doing something right.

We are a seven-piece band featuring two dynamic, exciting lead vocalists.  Saxophone, keyboards, guitar, drums, and bass round out the lineup. In addition to our lead vocalists, two of our instrumentalists sing lead vocals giving us variety and versatility, allowing us to perform music spanning many genres and decades. See their  Swing, top40, 80’s rock, modern country, motown, R&B, 70’s disco, reggae: you name it, and we can play it!

The talented members of the band have performed with the likes of Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, Natalie Cole, Lou Rawls, and The Temptations, been recognized by Billboard Magazine, and released numerous recordings.

The videos and sound clips that Clockwork has on their website are great, but this is minuscule glance at the talent this band has. Clockwork performed at my wedding on Labor Day weekend. I had to book them over a year in advance because they book quickly. A friend of my mom's had clockwork at her wedding a little over a year ago and told my mom her guests were dancing all night. They will certainly get you on your feet! My dance floor was packed too - even those who supposedly did not dance, were having the time of their lives. They played a very expansive variety of songs. When Ron announced they would be playing only one more song, the "SIX MORE SONGS" (not one more song - six more song) chant pretty much said it all. Clockwork was a huge success and I will recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding band!

It is hard to express in words how happy we are with Clockwork! The band was SPECTACULAR! Our guests are still raving about you. A few people actually commented about the large amount of people on the dance floor. I follow Clockwork on Facebook so I will be happy to post pictures. Hi Ron- We are back from Newport and back to reality now that the wedding is over! :-( We couldn't wait to write you an email to say THANK YOU so much for making our wedding an amazing night for us and all our guests! You guys were truly awesome! The next morning at our brunch we heard so many wonderful compliments about the band and we haven't stopped hearing them. We honestly appreciate how easy and great you were to work with all along. It turned out to be the best night of our lives.
