Our exclusive jazz groups are made up of the top musicians currently performing throughout the east coast jazz music scene.   The band specializes in a cosmopolitan mix of textures, styles and instrumentations of last great American art form…Jazz.

Listeners will be treated to a sophisticated repertoire that intermingles classic blue note jazz standards with stylized versions of pop music and exciting latin infused rhythmic diversions.

Some key music in Twilights repertoire include songs by artists such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Norah Jones, Etta James, Frank Sinatra,  Buena Vista Social Club, Michael Buble, Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys, Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum, Stevie Wonder, Harry Connick Jr,  Al Green, Tito Puente, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Al Green, Billie Holiday, Stan Getz, Astrud Gilbert

 

Instrumentation

We will customize your group with the perfect instrumentation to match your event and musical style preferences.  Some instruments most commonly found in our ensembles include: Sax, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drum, Vocalists, Trumpet and Vibraphone.

Instrumental configurations are perfect for cocktail receptions and private funtions requiring background ambiance that is non-intrusive.

Twilight can also function as a light dance band with the addition of a female vocalist.  This option is appropriate for clients interested in a more timeless feel of jazz, motown, light rock and big band swing as opposed to a Top 40 based repertoire.
