Tony Sarno Revue

Tony Sarno has entertained audiences as diverse as his classmates in elementary school to United States President Ronald Reagan. The Tony Sarno Revue is the result  of all of those performances in between. The band’s focus is on fun, danceable, good-time music played by talented musicians whose energy and enthusiasm is contagious.

Tony Sarno was the lead guitarist for David Clayton Thomas’ Blood Sweat and Tears, and singer/guitarist for The Bob Hardwick Sound and The Mike Carney and Bill Harrington Orchestras. Tony and his band have performed in concert on several occasions with B.B.King, as well as Stevie Ray Vaughan,  Hall & Oates, and Little Feat. He has also had the honor of performing at functions for President Reagan, Vice-President Bush,  Luciano Pavarotti, and one of the Washington DC galas for the Obama Inauguration.

For a great party the band can’t be beat, as they play the best party tunes from the 30′s to  the 00′s, specializing in the classic 60′s rock and soul music. As most functions take a while to get warmed-up, a portion of the band can play some light music from the 30′s and 40′s era, or if preferred, an acoustic guitar set of folk music from the 60′s and 70′s. The band can also jump right in and get things warmed-up immediately, and when they do, the party has begun!

The eleven-piece band consists of  guitar/vocals, bass, drums, B3, latin percussion, two female vocalists, and the four-piece Tornado Alley Horns. The combined experience of the players makes for an exciting evening of music, rivaled only by today’s top touring concert bands.
