I’ve been wanting to give the feedback that the music was terrific. Nate did a really nice job with the ceremony. As I walked around a few tables during dinner I got a lot of spontaneous comments from friends that they were loving the music – hearing everything they like. Looking back, all ages got up on the dance floor throughout the night! It was everything we were looking for and nothing we had wished was handled differently. I am writing to commend Rob on the excellent job he did for our wedding. Throughout the entire process, he was professional, thorough, realistic and extremely helpful. We worked closely with him on our playlist and he did a tremendous job getting into the details with us. Most of all, he enthusiastically and effectively managed the flow and timing of our event. I honestly can say that Rob is the reason our event ran so well. From coaching my nervous mother about how to stand for her toast to queuing the tables on when the could go up to the buffet, Rob was an integral part of the evening. We cannot thank him enough for all that he did that night.

Furthermore, his music was amazing!! He had people dancing all night long. Our dance floor was literally not big enough! People were dancing on the grass and in between tables. He did an amazing job of pulling from the playlist we requested and including top hits that made the dance floor explode! People are still talking about the amazing dance music.  I would highly recommend Rob to anyone who asks and would gladly act as a reference for him anytime. We are so happy we chose to go with Murray Hill Talent and Rob Camberlain. Thank you very much for your services and expertise!

The fact that you had the perfect demeanor (a subtle combination of hip, sophisticated, dignified, yet reverent) blew our minds. That you could track down every Bollywood song we requested pleased not just the two of us, but our relatives from India tremendously. It was an incredible surprise for them – many mentioned how much they appreciated hearing a few recognizable tunes. It was also miraculous to watch you weave seamlessly in and out of our song requests as you artfully read the vibe of the room. And lastly, your interest in actually understanding who we are and what this wedding means to us was truly rare and precious thing. We’re definitely atypical in many ways, but instead of allowing us to feel like outsiders at our own wedding, you helped us claim it as our own. We were looking for a DJ that would act professional and do a great job.  We wanted someone that wouldn’t “take over” the reception with the stereotypical DJ announcements, games, etc.  It was important that the DJ played the kind of music we wanted and made the crowd happy. Several of my wedding guests told me he was the best wedding DJ they’ve ever heard–even the “old folks” loved the music! As soon as dinner was over the guests made their way to the dance floor and stayed there ALL night.  We liked that Cory took requests from guests, but also stuck with the “play” and “do not play” list we supplied him with.

Paul is the best! We could not have been happier. From the very start it was clear that Paul cared about what kind of music we wanted to hear and appreciated how much the music meant to us. He listened to us and worked with us to make sure that the event would be fun and memorable for all involved. He had a unique ability to completely read the crowd and keep the party going. I had a number of people come up to me and say their goodbyes only to look over 4 or 5 songs later and see them still on the dance floor! Their response was always the same when I asked them about it; the music was too good to leave. The DJ can make or break any party and Paul definitely made ours the best party we’ve ever been to. The questionnaire that Murray Hill Talent sent out ahead of time was extremely helpful in pinpointing the style of music and overall vibe that we were hoping to create. You took this information and went above and beyond all expectations. The sound in the venue was perfect. Your set-up was comprehensive but not invasive in any way. Announcements were made in a professional but warm manner. Most of all, the transition from song to song was flawless! All of our guests were up on the dance floor immediately and remained there all night. Since our wedding, we have received compliments from guests, vendors and event staff regarding the music selection. Many have asked for a complete song list so that they can refer to it for future events! We absolutely recommend you to anyone looking for a fun, attentive, talented DJ who really gets the party going!

We really enjoyed working with Murray Hill talent and our DJ Mike Gent for our wedding. We were looking for an low-key DJ that would play music we love (we had a bunch of requests), while picking music that would work for the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception (we wanted a packed dance floor!). We also wanted someone affordable. We were completely satisfied in all respects. Before the wedding, we discussed our musical preferences with Mike, and felt confident that the night would go smoothly. He was very friendly and professional. At the reception, he organized the wedding party and did introductions, and throughout dinner he introduced speeches, as we had planned. During the reception, the dance floor was packed, and Mike did a great job switching between some specific cultural requests (polka music, for ex.) and more traditional reception dance music. He was also very responsive to requests, even staying after the last song to play a heavily requested track. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our wedding DJ, and we received a lot of compliments about music that night.
